According to the AWM service records, A.G. Adams was admitted to hospital on Lemnos Island on 30 September 1915. He was diagnosed with 'diarrhoea-slight'. He was transferred to HM Hospital Ship '
Karapara'.
After travelling south across the Mediterranean he was transferred on 12 October 1915 to hospital in Alexandria.
